Over the years TenPoint builds up a solid reputation and the Shadow NXT is probably one of their best achievement. The Shadow NXT is just flat shot right out of the box. All you have to do is mount the scope and quiver if you use a bow mounted quiver.

The new rifle-like design uses Vector Quad/4 cables that loop back to the riser on a turnbuckle instead of 2 passing through the riser. This new technology eliminates the friction in-between the cables avoiding them to rub together and through the slide. The cable system balances torsion and tension to essentially take cam lean out of the equation. The axles/cams have a grove where the cables wrap around as the crossbow is being cocked.

Many little features to create one of the narrowest crossbows on the market and increase its durability. All these features also enhance the accuracy of the crossbow. The Shadow NXT is an easy platform to adapt to.

Three different cocking device is available. The Rope Sled, the ACUdraw 50 Sled, and the ACUdraw cocking system. They all work well, it goes on your personal preferences. TenPoint redesigned the sled and you will be amazed how easily it pulls away from the string. 

The arrow lies on a nice carbon-injected with polymer barrel with a new brush arrow retainer to ensure maximum stability.

The lightweight Functionally Superior Bullpup (FSB) stock is equipped with rubber safety wings to reduce noise and vibration as well as helping to keep the shooter’s fore-grip hand safely below the flight deck. A well-balanced crossbow.

Impressively surprising, it actually shoots above the rating. You can expect more velocity out of this crossbow without tweaking any of the settings. Pressing the trigger at about 4 pounds releases a devastating speed. Depending on your arrow setting you may expect various KE and momentum but be reassured that you will have plenty of speed to shoot all legal game in North America.
