Description
The Barnett Recruit Compound Crossbow Packages come in different colors, velocities and draw weights. This crossbow line was designed for smaller frame archers (women, young adults, etc...) to make this sport even more accessible to anyone who wants a nice hunting or shooting experience with a crossbow. This crossbow is the "grow with" type of crossbow. It comes in six distinct Models. The Recruit Tactical, The Recruit Terrain, The Recruit Black, the Recruit 100 (Tan or Pink), the Recruit 60 and the Recruit 30.
Of course, hunting bigger games like elk or black bear is more of a possibility with the fastest of the same line, like the Recruit 100 (256 FPS) or the Recruit Black (300 FPS) and certainly with the Recruit Tactical or the Terrain (New from 2017 with 330 FPS). The other models like the Recruit 30 (140 FPS) and 60 (195 FPS) are more recommended for practicing and developing a passion for crossbow shooting (perfect for your kids) but the Recruit 60 is efficient enough for a smaller game like deer or turkey. They all feature the same anti-vibration foot stirrup, safety mechanism, and anti-dry-fire system. They also feature a pass-through foregrip with finger reminders for added safety.
The Barnett Recruit Crossbow in black color is the most popular on the market. Mainly because it fits any size of people and delivers a stunning 300 FPS. Draw weight of the Recruit black 130 lbs but comes with a rope cocking device which makes almost effortless to cock the crossbow. The Recruit Black generates about 80 ft-lbs. of kinetic energy with 400 grains bolts. This is enough to tackle down any legal game. However, it is not recommended for the toughest legal games like Moose.
The Barnett Recruit 100 Crossbow comes either in Tan or Pink color. Both models look good. This crossbow is 100 lbs. of draw weight and comes with a rope cocking device. The Recruit 100 delivers 256 FPS for 58 ft-lbs. of kinetic energy with 400 grains bolts. For beginners, it's a perfect balanced crossbow in between low draw weight and efficient velocity to have the best shooting experience.
The Barnett Recruit 60 Crossbow comes in green-black camo. This crossbow is 60 lbs. of draw weight and also comes with a rope cocking device. The Recruit 60 delivers 195 FPS which generates 34 ft-lbs. of kinetic energy with 400 grains bolts. Clearly designed for smaller size archers, this crossbow will exceed your expectations.
The Barnett Recruit 30 Crossbow comes in a beautiful yellow-gold on a black font. The design is really visual. This crossbow has an impressively low 30 lbs. of draw weight and to make even easier to cock, its comes with a rope cocking device. The Recruit 30 delivers 140 PFS and is expected to deliver 17 ft-lbs. of kinetic energy with 400 grains bolts. At such low draw weight, everybody can enjoy shooting this crossbow. It is definitely the best youth crossbow for the money and the best crossbow for kids to get into the sport.
