Many other crossbows would be a painful experience to walk through the forest but the compactness of the Ravin R9 Predator Crossbow allows you to easily walk around and be this deadly predator that you are! The Ravin R9 is basically for hunters who are not afraid to be first in the field of new technology and for those who love speed and precision.

Ravin Crossbows must be paired with Ravin Arrows otherwise the warranty would be void.

The Ravin soft crossbow case suits perfectly the Ravin R9 crossbow and allows you to store or transport the R9 and it can carry many other items to complete your package.

The Ravin R9 Predator Crossbow Package comes fully assembled and tuned leaving more time to shoot right after unboxing it.

Its rifle-like look comes from its new patented Helicoil technology design. Clearly an improvement for tight hunting places. This new design makes the Ravin R9 crossbow smaller and narrower with only 6 inches when cocked and yet doesn't give up any power. The R9 has an impressive 390 FPS with 135 ft-lbs. of kinetic energy with 400-grain bolts at 195 lbs. of draw weight. This will be deadly for any legal hunts in North America. The new Frictionless Flight System also contributes to its velocity. The arrow and the string do not contact the rail during the shot, which eliminates friction and cam lean. It Improves accuracy and speed and decreases string-and-cable wear.

The R9 comes with a removable cocking handle with a fully integrated cocking system which facilitates to cock the 195 lbs. of draw weight. To Crank the R9, it feels like pulling 10 pounds. The integrated cocking system makes uncocking the crossbow much easier. I consider that feature a huge advantage for any hunters but especially for disabled people or people with impaired motor ability.

The Ravin scope is an illuminated multi-reticles scope that will allow you to aim accurately even at 100 yards and this without any tuning because it comes already sighted-in. This 8.75-inch scope has a variable speed and arrow drops compensation setting for crossbows that shoot between 300 and 425 fps.

The trigger system is really responsive and breaks cleanly at 2 lbs and is perfectly quiet. A well-built and a well-working trigger is really important to increase your precision.

I recently purchased the Ravin R9 Predator crossbow and it is by far the best and easiest to use. The cocking and decocking with the crank is something that should have been thought of before. It works great. The scope has distances marked at 10 yard intervals from 20 to 100 and once tuned to 20 yards then 30 all the distances up to 50 yards are on. Didn't get to shoot father yet but will try. I would definitey recommend this crossbow to anyone.
